Modern Cement Tile Shower

This project is a pull and plug remodeling of a 70s shower, the owner wanted to update a very dated style. We designed and changed everything in the bathroom – except for the layout.

Client wanted to update a 1970s dated style shower. We designed and changed everything in the bathroom – except for the layout.

This project was a delight for us to collaborate with the client on and make everything come together so well! Despite a few concerns over flow of the design and layout technicalities, we found what worked, got the job done on time, with excellent results and a very happy customer!

Scope of bath remodeling work

We changed everything from vanity to backsplash but without changing the layout. Below is the scope of work done:

Demolition of existing shower and floor tile, cabinets, and lighting.
Moved plumbing from the left wall to right side.
Added LED lighting in the custom niche.
Installed modern cement-like tile.
New matching floor tile.
New paint, trim and fixtures.
All new plumbing fixtures and toilet.

renovation Project workflow:

We planned the remodeling design and choose the material with the client who wanted an clean and elegant look for a reasonable price.
We worked out a full functional layout with the client with minimal change to minimize the cost. We figured out how to implement the client’s vision without changing the plumbing/electricals which would result in higher costs.
Demolition and removing the old bathroom items.
Carefully worked with the material and design to install large format tile in the shower floor to keep the image of cement flowing throughout.
